Laundry Room

Ok so if asked what I don't like about my new house it would be my Laundry Room.  It is small and the door gets in the way.  So I decided to decorate it due to I have to close the door if I am hanging things to dry because the rod hangs in the space behind the door, now at least I can enjoy my Americana Decorations :)

Troy helped Marley and I build these risers last November.  Marley's is black, which someday if she ever gets me pics to post you will get to see.  And by the way she has an awesome Laundry area!  Where we are both lucky is that they are located up-stairs where all of our bedrooms are!!!

Love this saying!

Nothing too exciting but thought I would post something before the month ends.
Fall is coming down and Christmas is going up....
Pics to come soon!  Hopefully some of Marley's too!!

Old Ladder turned Bakers Rack

Ok so the real reason I have always wanted an island is because I have always wanted to do this above one.  I think it is so country!!   This is the side coming into the kitchen..

This is looking up thru it... I painted the bottom of a basket chalkboard so I could write on it instead of seeing the ugly bottom.

This is the kitchen side looking toward the Great Room!
Christmas is going to be so fun decorating it!!!!

Old Window Revamp

This old window had no glass in it when I found it at the Flea Market so I painted it red,( my fav color to dcecorate with, next to whites :)), then added chicken wire to the back.  Perfect way to get to use my old clothes pins and I attached the tin pocket and the wooden box....thinking about painting MAIL on the front of wooden box.

Big Holes In The Wall 2....

YAY!!!  I got so lucky on Monday, I found 2 old stools, 1 was black the other was a strange peachy/tan color...no worries, I just painted them both red, I think they look so cute and help a ton, however I am still thinking I need to paint inside the holes.

This Is What We Woke Up To This Morning...

No wind, yay!  We are so used to a little snow with a lot of wind,  this looks beautiful.  I haven't seen snow like this in a long time.  I think MAYBE at least 1 time each winter in Green River we would get this kind of snow.  :)

Big Holes In The Walls...

When I first looked at the house I really was stressed about what I would do with these "Holes In the Wall".  For the most part I figured out the majority of them but I still have the 2 bottom side ones to do...and to top it off I have to decorate them with T-Roy's BIG Stereo Speakers.

See how big they are?  Ugh!!

Above is what is behind the vase and BIG speaker.... I was thinking about spray painting them red and hanging them on that back wall??????  But I think I am changing my mind!!!  I am thinking that I need to paint the back walls in the holes......I think a Flea Market shop is in store for today...maybe the vases need some height???  A pair of old chairs?  A pair of old stools?
